Lubbock Police Arrest Teen Who Did Doughnuts & Drove Over 100mph
Lubbock police officers arrested a male teenager for reckless driving Sunday (July 22) morning.
Seventeen-year-old Adrian Herrera was arrested Sunday morning for traveling over 100 mph on the southbound lanes of I-27. KAMC News reports Herrera was spotted doing doughnuts in the area of 23rd Street and Avenue P before speeding.
Police say he placed the public in immediate danger due to his speeds and blatant disregard for other motorists.
Herrera was able to post bond, and was released Sunday. The charge against him was described as a Class B misdemeanor.
