Police Arrest Lubbock Man Connected to Five Robberies
A Lubbock man has been arrested in connection with five different robberies.
Lubbock Police say 19-year-old Leo Diaz was identified as the suspect of all five robberies after he fit the same physical description in each of the robberies. Diaz was brought in for questioning by police and later arrested.
Diaz is accused robbing a combination of five different convenience stores and restaurants in Lubbock:
- On July 15, the Marble Slab Creamery at 4210 82nd Street
- On July 19, the E-Z Mart at 4426 34th Street
- On July 23, the 7-Eleven at 2608 Avenue Q
- On July 24, the Dollar General at 2705 Clovis Road
- On August 2, the Dominoes at 4921 34th Street
In addition to the five robbery charges, Diaz was also charged with failure to identify.
He is currently booked in the Lubbock County Detention Center on $100,750 in bonds.
