On Wednesday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Nancy Neal from Lubbock Parks and Recreation talked with Tom Collins and Laura Mac about an upcoming fitness event.

Lubbock Parks and Recreation will be hosting fitness "open houses" at all city community centers to highlight some of the fitness equipment and classes they have available to the community. The fitness equipment at all locations is free of charge to use. Neal added that Hodges Community Center will also be offering fitness classes, like Zumba and yoga.

The open houses will take place Saturday, January 26th from 9 AM to 1 PM. The locations include Lubbock Senior Center, Maggie Trejo Supercenter, Mae Simmons Community Center, Copper Rawlings Community Center and Hodges Community Center.
