The National Weather Service forecast for today calls for a 60 percent chance of more wintery mix from early Friday (Jan. 2) to early Saturday (Jan. 3).

That translates to ice and a fair amount of it. Tonight we're looking at an 80 percent chance of that wintery mix continuing, and tomorrow we have an 80 percent chance of out and out snow.

Ice accumulations for Friday and Saturday are expected to be about .1 of an inch, which is more than enough to make driving a nightmare. Between tonight and tomorrow morning we could see between two and four inches of snow.

The high Friday is expected to hit 30. If there is a bright spot in any of this, it's that we're supposed to hit 41 tomorrow, but then again if all that ice and snow hits it could hold temperatures down.

The last blast of ice resulted in over 150 car accidents. Let's try to keep you safe. Keep off the streets if you can, but check out this video if you can't.
