Lubbock Municipal Garden and Arts Center Offers Summer Camp For Young Artists
The City of Lubbock will offer artistic summer camp classes beginning this summer.
The Lubbock Municipal Garden and Arts Center will host Art Factory Summer Camps tailored to kids interested in working with a variety of media such as painting, drawing, and sculpture.
The Art Factory will provide week-long art camps for children ages 3-13 that will begin June 2nd and run through August 15th. You may register for the camps beginning May 1st at the Garden & Arts Center located at 4215 University Avenue.
Kids ages 3-5 may attend the Funshine Art Factory Pre K Camp. The camp features two and a half hour classes Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m at the rate of $35 per week.
The Art Factory Camp is available for kids ages 6 – 12 with three and a half hour classes from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30p.m. or 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at a rate of $65 per week
Full day Art Factory classes are also available from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at $100 per week.
Morning and afternoon snacks are included for half-day campers, but full day campers will be required to bring a sack lunch and water bottle.
