Dan Pope Hosting Ice Cream With the Mayor Event in Lubbock

Most months, Lubbock Mayor Dan Pope hosts a Coffee with the Mayor event, which normally takes place in the morning around 7 a.m. This month, however, Mayor Pope is hosting an afternoon meeting at a place where you can escape the afternoon heat.

Ice Cream With the Mayor will be held Wednesday, July 15th from 3-4 p.m. at Holly Hop Ice Cream Shoppe, located at 3404 34th Street.

All Lubbock citizens are invited to attend and asked to social distance and wear face coverings when not eating ice cream. This event is designed for citizens to ask questions and hear from local officials.
