A Lubbock man suffered serious injuries after he was located with multiple stab wounds back on Friday, January 22nd, 2021.

KAMC News reports that officers responded to the 1900 block of 13th Street a bit before 2:15 a.m. The call was originally for a robbery, but the officer was later notified that a person had been stabbed multiple times and needed EMS.

It's reported that the victim, who hasn't been publicly identified, was doing laundry at a home across the street from the Open Door, which is located at 1916 13th Street. While he was there, he got into a verbal argument with the suspect, who also hasn't bene publicly identified.

The victim turned to walk away, and that's when the suspect allegedly stabbed him multiple times.

A witness claims they saw the victim walking eastbound on 13th Street before he turned around and went the opposite direction. He then came to a stop a was lying on the ground. 2 other witnesses say they woke to the sound of the victim yelling and hitting the front door of their home.

The victim was taken to University Medical Center by EMS.

While at UMC, the victim was able to provide a description of the suspect along with their name, but as of Tuesday, January 26th, the suspect has not been located.
