Lubbock Man Found with Pornographic Videos of Infants Pleads Guilty
A Lubbock man has pleaded guilty to distribution of child pornography after multiple photos and videos were located on devices in his residence.
KAMC News reports that the Texas Department of Public Safety first received a Cyber Tip from Yahoo back in November of 2020. This tip led them to 57-year-old Steven Jerome Paul.
On Paul's phone, investigators found 28 videos of child pornography, some involving infants, toddlers, and bestiality. On top of this, various other videos and photos of child pornography were found on devices around Paul's home, including 34 photos located on a separate phone.
Paul was arrested on August 31st of 2021 and charged with 6 separate counts of child pornography. If a judge approves his plea deal, Paul will be sentenced at a later date to a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 20 years in federal prison.
