Lubbock Man Found Guilty for Aggravated Robbery
Wednesday (Jan. 10), a Lubbock jury found 37-year-old Ramiro Sistos Jr. guilty of aggravated robbery.
A police report states Sistos followed a woman home from a fast food restaurant, pointed a gun at her and demanded money. The woman didn’t have any money on her, so Sistos made her drive to an ATM to get cash. However, the woman did not have any cash in her ATM. Instead, Sistos stole kitchen knives and jewelry from the woman.
The woman was not injured.
The same jury that found Sistos guilty will be the same jury to decide his punishment. Sistos is currently being held in the Lubbock County Detention Center on a $200,000 bond.
