Lubbock Man Arrested for Indecency With a Child

Lubbock police have arrested a man who was wanted in Terry County for indecency with a child.

Brownfield Police were notified of an incident between 22-year-old Victor Martinez, Jr. and a 14-year-old in December of 2017.

A Lubbock Police officer pulled over Martinez on Sunday, February 16th after seeing an expired registration sticker and no seat belt. The officer then ran a check to see if Martinez was wanted.

KAMC News reports that Martinez was held Monday on a $20,000 bond.
