Lubbock Juvenile Charged With Murder After Dead Body Discovered Friday Morning

A Lubbock juvenile has been charged with murder after a deceased male was discovered in the 3200 block of Baylor Avenue Friday morning (June 15).

The Lubbock Police Department received a call around 2 a.m. Friday morning about a dead body on the sidewalk. Police have identified the man as 55-year-old Rudolfo Reina.

Detectives learned that Reina had been talking with a younger male prior to being found. The juvenile was quickly located. Over the course of the investigation, the juvenile was arrested and charged with murder.

The homicide remains under investigation.
