A flute player from Lubbock High School will be playing for all to hear in a recording at Texas Tech that will be aired on National Public Radio's From the Top.

Yuna Langehennig will be playing for a live performance recording in the Allen Theater at Texas Tech on February 27, 2016 at 8 p.m. Langehennig's performance will then air on NPR the week of April 25.

In accordance with this performance, Langehennig will be given the Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award, a $10,000 scholarship to pursue her musical education.
