An anonymous call to the Crime Line led Lubbock Police Department detectives to a grisly discovery Saturday (June 6).

[Update] According to KLBK, Lubbock police contacted the Ysasaga family following the discovery and told them they believe the body belongs to Mark Ysasaga. However, as of Sunday, June 7, authorities have yet to confirm the body's identity.

The detectives discovered human remains near the area of I-27 and 120th Street. Along with Lubbock County Medical Examiners, police are investigating the scene.

According to police, the recovery process could take several days.

Some sources are reporting that the remains may belong to missing Lubbock teen Mark Anthony Ysasaga. However, police have yet to identify the body. Ysasaga went missing in June 2012. Police believe he was murdered, but have never found his body.

No other details are available at this time. When we learn more, this story will be updated.
