Lubbock County Vote Center Locations for Election Day

Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 2, is Election Day and polls will be open across the State of Texas from 7am-7pm. For voters in both Lubbock County, and the City of Lubbock, there is more on the ballot than just Texas Constitutional Amendments.

Voters that live within in the City of Lubbock are considering approval of a $174.5 million bond for street repairs and improvements. Portions of Erskine, 34th Street, East 82nd Street, 114th Street, and Broadway would be rehabbed/improved/widened as part of the bond package.

Voters in New Deal ISD will be considering approval of a $48.5 million bond.  If New Deal ISD voters approve the bond, the money would be used for a number of items, including: demolishing the current Elementary/Middle School building and constructing a new one; demolishing the current Band Hall and building a new one; demolishing the current transportation facility and building a new one. Also, a new cafeteria would be constructed along with a new competition gym.

Over 30 different vote centers will be open on Tuesday in Lubbock County. Registered voters in Lubbock County are able to cast their ballot at any one of the vote centers.

Here is a list of the proposed Texas Constitutional Amendments from the Texas Secretary of State's office. Texans will be considering eight different amendments.
