Lubbock Area Haboob Turns Skies Red [PICS]

As most on the South Plains, we're no strangers to dust and high winds.  When the two combine in a way like Monday afternoon however, even the most seasoned West Texan could be surprised.

The dust blew in amidst high wind warnings from the National Weather Service, as a cold front moves into the area from the north. These photos are from some employees here at Townsquare Media Lubbock, and our friends across the South Plains. How did we ever get along discussing weather events without smartphone cameras and Facebook?
