Lubbock Animal Services To Hold A Huge, Free Adoption Event

Are you looking to add to the family? Maybe looking to adopt a dog or cat and give them a great life that they deserve? If so, you won't want to miss out on the Lubbock Animal Shelter's Clear the Shelters Event.

Lubbock Animal Shelter will participate in the national Clear the Shelters Event on Saturday, August 24 from 10:00am to 6:00pm. The event will take place at the Lubbock Animal Shelter located at 3323 SE Loop 289.

During this event, the goal is to adopt out as many pets as possible. All adoptions are free during the Clear the Shelter event. But that's not all. All pets will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and come with flea and tick prevention.

According to a press release, there will also be food trucks on hand to purchase food from.

This will be the 7th year that Lubbock Animal Services has participated in the Clear the Shelter event.
