If Early Voting is any indication, turnout for the May 2019 Cities and Schools Elections won't be huge. According to numbers released by Vote Lubbock, only 6,296 voters in Lubbock County went to the polls between April 22 and April 30. There are 171,778 registered voters in Lubbock County.

The major issue on the ballot for Lubbock County voters is the $99.6 million dollar bond election for Lubbock County's road proposal. Within Lubbock County, some school boards and cities will also have candidates and issues on the ballot.

Election Day is Saturday. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Lubbock County. For a list of Vote Center locations, click here.
