Last month, a recall was issued for Kellogg’s Honey Smacks cereal. Since then, more than 100 cases of salmonella infections have been reported from 33 states, including Texas.
Kellogg’s issued the recall June 14, 2018, after it was discovered that some boxes may be contaminated with salmonella. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is advising the public to avoid the brand’s Honey Smacks cereal altogether, no matter the size or packaging.
