Karen Gibson to Run for Re-Election to Lubbock City Council [Audio]
Wednesday on Lubbock's First News, Councilwoman Karen Gibson talked about her re-election campaign for her seat on the Lubbock City Council.
The official announcement of her intention to run for re-election will take place February 4. Brian Carr, psychologist, is considering a run against Gibson for the position. To this, she aid, "It's America. Anybody can run." She also commented on the final results of the LP&L audit, which suggested there was no criminal activity, as well as on Sam Medina's administrative leave.
