Lubbock police had to chase a burglary suspect through the parking lot of a Wal-Mart earlier today. KAMC 28 reports the incident happened at the Wal-Mart at the South Loop and Quaker.

A 15 year-old boy was arrested by police after being caught in a stolen vehicle and accidentally discharging a firearm.  The boy, while handcuffed, escaped from the officer’s custody and had to be chased down before being apprehended.  Among the charges filed against the 15 year-old truancy, evading arrest, auto theft and the burglary of a home on 54th Street.
