Judge Sam Cummings Recuses Himself from Aldawsari Trail

Federal Judge Sam Cummings will not serve on the upcoming terrorism trial for Khalid Aldawsari. Cummings did not give a reason for recusing himself from the trial.

Aldawsari has pleaded not guilty to charges that he tried to make a weapon of mass destruction. Bomb materials and other evidence indicating a bomb plot were allegedly found in his apartment near Texas Tech University.

A new judge has yet to be selected for the trial.
