Cornyn Reacts To Economic Growth Numbers, Talks Farm Bill

Friday on The Chad Hasty Show, U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) joined the broadcast to talk about recent news and events in Washington D.C.

Cornyn and Hasty talked about the latest economic growth numbers released by the Commerce Department, as well as tariffs, the farm bill and welfare, defense, and more.

When Hasty asked by Cornyn if he agrees with comments made earlier this week on the show by Senator Ted Cruz, regarding up to $12 billion in federal aid to U.S. farmers, Cornyn replied,

I agree with Ted. I think we can help our farmers better by doing what I said, which is to get a farm bill, which gives them some predictability, and also to settle some of these trade deals.
