Monday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin Congressman Jodey Arrington joined Dave and Matt to talk about the farm bill, food stamps, the press attacking trump, and North Korea.

The Congressman started the discussion by talking about the farm bill, which they have been working on for over 2 years. Arrington said that it has finally been voted out of the committee and is on its way to the floor. It covers several issues, not the least of which has been the recent topic of discussion, being work requirements for able bodied adults. Arrington stressed that this is not not just kicking people off of welfare, saying, "look, we'll provide the training through the states and make sure that they have the education, training, and otherwise preparation to be in the work place."

Arrington also spoke on the media's constant negative attention and attacks towards the president. "We knew that in order to get this country back, we were going to have a fight on our hands," Jodey said, going on to say that while Trump's style may be different, he is a fighter and doesn't care about political positions as long as we get things done.

Finally the Congressman spoke on the possibility of talks with North Korea that would affect their nuclear program. Arrington believes that we need to put serious pressure on North Korea and that the United States needs to be willing to strike them if necessary.
