What is ‘Texas Style’ Coffee and Where Can You Get it?

All of my coffee lovers out there know the feeling when you try a new drink for the very first time and realize you've been missing out on something for way too long.

I recently experienced this after seeing a TikTok about ‘Texas Style’ coffee. After seeing the ingredients, I immediately knew I needed to try it, and it did not disappoint.

@karikenned posted about the drink she often gets from her local Target Starbucks. It is on that location’s ‘specials’ board along with ‘The Hulk’ and ‘Sweet Tart’. She specified that she hadn’t seen this drink at any other location, so she wasn’t sure if it was a secret menu item, or just something specific to that Target.

If you want to order a ‘Texas Style’ coffee for yourself, ask for three blonde shots, four pumps of white mocha, and topped with sweet cream. The recipe is specifically designed for a grande that is iced, so ask your barista for more information on how to adjust the measurements for different sized drinks.

I’m sure you can also order this style of drink at other coffee shops, as long as they have the proper ingredients. If not, you could ask them to make something similar. Or, if you happen to have an espresso machine at home, you can make it yourself.

In case you are curious about the two other drinks mentioned, ‘The Hulk’ is an iced matcha latte with coconut milk and two pumps of sugar-free vanilla, and the ‘Sweet Tart’ is strawberry acai lemonade with five pumps of raspberry and a splash of passion tea.
