Lubbock Last-Minute Plans: Mistletoe Market, Tamale Workshop, & More
Lubbock is getting into the holiday mood with a variety of events across the city. If you are looking for something to do this weekend, here are a couple of different options.
Mistletoe Market
KK’s Corner Mall is a great place to shop for locally made goods, and they are hosting a special holiday event this weekend. Their Mistletoe Market is a multi-day event happening from November 9th to the 12th. This event goes from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. each day and features a variety of store discounts and door prizes.
This is a great opportunity to do some holiday shopping and support local businesses at the same time. More information can be found on the official Facebook event page.
Tamale Workshop
On November 10th and 11th, Cooper Rawlings Community Center is hosting a workshop where you can learn how to make the beloved Mexican holiday dish, tamales. Pre-registration is required and there is a cover charge to participate.
Silent Wings Museum Veterans Day Event
On this Saturday, November 11th, the Silent Wings Museum is hosting their all-day Veterans Day event. There are a variety of things to do including watching a documentary, exploring the museum, and more. However, a major feature is happening at the end of the day.
