Felony Offenses Resulting In Arrests

Recently Smith County law enforcement along with officers from Tyler, Lindale, Whitehouse, and other police departments arrested individuals on the following felony offenses:

  • possession of illegal drugs
  • driving while intoxicated times 3
  • driving while intoxicated with a child under the age of 15
  • aggravated assault
  • child abandonment
  • assault of a pregnant person

During the last week of February, 196 individuals were booked into the Smith County Jail. Of the 196, more than 60 individuals are now facing at least one felony charge.
