Nobody in town will admit this out loud, but every single neighborhood is convinced it is, in fact, the best part of town.

People in South Lubbock will tell you everything they need is within a 5-minute drive. They know shortcuts to all the coffee shops and restaurants, and they casually brag about never needing to go "north of the Loop" like it's something that requires a dang passport.

I'm thinking, Lubbock is pretty alright, as a whole.

Pick a spot.

If you hate it, pick another.

Chances are, eventually, you'll find your little slice of heaven here, too.
