On Thursday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Cheryl Presley, volunteer program coordinator of Hospice of Lubbock, joined Chad and Rex to talk about the Light Up A Life fundraiser.

Hospice of Lubbock in a non-profit organization that provides end-of-life care for children and adults with terminal illnesses. Light Up a Life is Hospice of Lubbock's largest fundraiser of the year, and this year they hope to raise $60,000. Presley said that Light up a Life also gives families the chance to honor the memories of their loved ones.

Light Up A Life kicks off tonight with a tree lighting ceremony tonight at 6:30 of 74th and Quaker in front of Haverty's. You can also donate to Hospice of Lubbock by purchasing angel ornaments for $25 at the South Plains Mall.
