On Friday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Chad talked about the politically correct reasoning surrounding the relocation of the Jefferson Davis statue on the University of Texas campus.

The decision has been made to relocate the Jefferson Davis statue on the University of Texas at Austin campus to the Briscoe Center for American History. This comes as a result of consideration by university and community leaders, as well as a petition circulated in the wake of protests being held opposing the commemoration of Confederate leaders from the Civil War.

"It's silliness, at the end of the day. You may not like Jefferson Davis, not saying you have to. You may not like the idea of the Confederacy, no one's saying you have to, but it is part of history, and it is part of our history", Hasty said.

Listen to the rest of Chad's thoughts as well as a couple of listener calls on the matter in the video box above.
