Hasty: Democrats Get A Pass On Leaking Classified Information [AUDIO]
On the Thursday edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Hasty spent some time talking about the case of the "unmasking" of former national security adviser Michael Flynn, and the recently release list of Obama administration officials who requested the information.
Individuals on the list include Vice President Joe Biden, CIA Director John Brennan, FBI Director James Comey, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and others.
Hasty said, "You're seeing a lot of the news media, the left-wing news media...Andrea Mitchell posted on Twitter last night, 'This happens all the time. Unmasking happens all the time,' and she's correct. Unmasking does happen all the time. What does not happen all the time, is that, that information is then leaked to the news media, and is published. Because that is leaking classified information, which is a crime...Somebody with ties high up in the Obama administration committed a crime. They leaked classified information, I believe it was to the New York Times...And this all ties in to the Russian hoax, this all ties together."
Hasty summed-up his monologue, saying
What have we learned about leaking classified information? If you're a Democrat, it's ok. It's alright. As long as it's against Trump, and against Trump's people, it's perfectly acceptable to leak classified information.
