Gunshot Victim Claims “Friend” Shot Him While Inside Vehicle

One person was shot by his friend while they were both in a vehicle outside a North Lubbock apartment complex on Friday, November 19th.

Lubbock Police responded to reports of shots fired just after 11 p.m. at the College Pointe Apartments, located at 201 Indiana Avenue.

Upon arrival, the victim told officers that he and the suspect were friends. The victim claims they were both inside the vehicle when the suspect fired a shot, hitting him in the left arm.

The victim exited the vehicle and got into another one, then went to UMC for treatment. Meanwhile, the suspect drove away.

As of this time, the identity of the suspect remains unknown.
