My San Antonio provided the spicy details on Ramsay's latest visit to Austin. The Longhorns have had a decent season so far, and the university was eager to give the Michelin star chef a tour of the football field.

I wonder how many ways he can cook up a Texas Longhorn...

Why is Gordon Ramsay in Texas?

Ramsay's presence in the Lone Star State is marinated in mystery and deep fried in suspense (are these food puns getting old yet?).

Some think that he is in the state to record a new episode of one of his restaurant TV shows. My San Antonio seems to support this claim by including that, during a visit to Georgetown, Ramsay was seen at a local pub & grill in what some say was a filming stop for his show, Kitchen Nightmares.

Additionally, the world-renowned chef was allegedly at a different restaurant and calls for extras were reported in the area for his show, but nothing was confirmed.

When being cast as an extra on a TV show, it's common to be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) prior to and during filming. It's for this reason that the public is still in the dark as to why his presence is seen so often in Texas recently.

And no, this image is not photoshopped, I just love this photo and how ridiculous it is...

So, what will it take for Gordon Ramsay to visit Lubbock? I have an idea! Let's all brainstorm a dish that puts even the fanciest feasts to shame. We can use prairie dog meat and tumbleweeds. It can be called "Dog Weed Soup" or "Tumble-Puppy Nachos"... okay, we can keep workshopping the name.
