This Friday is First Friday Art Trail in Lubbock, a great event that continues to grow and showcase so many local and regional artists. First Friday Art trail happens on the first Friday of the month from 6-9 p.m. There are numerous galleries to visit and see great artwork.

This Friday during First Friday Art Trail, United Supermarkets will host a COVID-19 pop-up vaccine clinic on the patio at Buddy Holly Hall. The patio is located on the east side of the building across from LUACA. According to United Supermarkets there will also be food and BBQ from Buddy's BBQ.

The United Supermarkets team will be on site from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the pop-up vaccine clinic and they will be offering the Johnson & Johnson vaccine free. Remember, the Johnson and Johnson vaccine is the single-shot vaccination. If a guest receives their vaccine at the pop-up clinic, they will get a free beverage, including wine or beer according to a press release from United Supermarkets.

“We have seen several incentive programs similar to this around the country,” said Robert Taylor, EVP for the United Family. “We hope people will be a buddy and take advantage of this while they enjoy the art trail. They can get their shot and then grab a nice cold beverage of their choice on us!”

If you can't make it to the pop-up clinic, citizens can go to any United Supermarket, Market Street, or Amigos pharmacy and get a COVID-19 vaccine shot.

So if you are wanting to see some great art, eat some BBQ, and get a free drink, visit the pop-up vaccine clinic at Buddy Holly Hall this Friday.
