Frankford Avenue Past 98th Street to Be Paved Thursday Evening

A southwest Lubbock street will experience lane reductions this week during the evening hours for more paving work.

The west section of Frankford Avenue between 98^th Street and 102^nd Street will be paved during the evening hours of Thursday, October 25^th.

Crews are doing most of the work during the evening hours to avoid disruptions to neighborhood school traffic. The remaining paving will be done during normal working hours.

In a press release Wednesday, the City of Lubbock issued a statement thanking “everyone in this area for their continued cooperation during the upgrades to the infrastructure in their area of town.”
