The campaign for a Republican presidential candidate has fired back, following allegations of sexual misconduct.

Sharon Bialek, who has accused Herman Cain of sexual misconduct, appeared at a press conference Monday alongside noted attorney Gloria Allred.

Bialek, a former employee of the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation, claimed to be involved in a situation with Cain in July 1997. She says that after dinner with him in Washington D.C., he attempted to put his hand up her skirt during a car ride and force her head toward his crotch, according to coverage of her statement from the Associated Press. Bialek noted that when she told him to stop, he did.

The Chicago-area woman says that no workplace complaints were filed, since she was not employed at the time. Bialek challenged Cain, goading him to “Come clean.”

The Cain campaign issued a statement, calling all allegations “Completely false.” Their release began, saying “Just as the country finally begins to refocus on our crippling $15 trillion national debt and the unacceptably high unemployment rate, now activist celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred is bring forth more false accusations against the character of Republican frontrunner Herman Cain.”

The statement continued, saying “Mr. Cain has never harassed anyone. Fortunately the American people will not allow Mr. Cain’s bold ‘9-9-9 Plan’, clear foreign policy vision and plans for energy independence to be overshadowed by these bogus attacks.”

Bialek is the 4th woman to claim sexual harassment involving Cain since his campaign began.
