On Thursday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Floydada Mayor Bob Gilliland spoke with Chad and Rex about Floydada's Annual "Punkin Day" celebration.

Floydada has the nickname, "Pumpkin Capital, U.S.A," and "Punkin Day" celebrates all things pumpkin. This year, the 24th annual "Punkin Day" will be Saturday, October 8th, starting at 8 AM. Activities this year include a 5K Fun Run, a tractor pull for the kids, and a pumpkin pie relay race.
