On Thursday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Tonja Hagy from the Louise Hopkins-Underwood Center for the Arts talked with Tom Collins and Laura Mac about this month's First Friday Art Trail.

Friday night will be the first First Friday Art trail for 2014. Hagy said that this month, due to the Christmas break, there will be fewer exhibits on display. However, she also said that this is a good thing because it allows patrons to take their time and not feel like they have to rush through all the galleries and exhibits. Hagy added that crowd favorite galleries such as LHUCA, the Buddy Holly Center and the Garden and Arts Center, will all be open during the trail.

The First Friday Art Trail will take place on January 3rd, from 6 PM to 9 PM in the Depot District. Admission to all venues is free. For more information on the First Friday Art Trail, visit their website at ffat.org, or visit their Facebook page.
