East Texas firefighters continue to fight a fire that began at an oil storage facility at 3 a.m. on Tuesday.

Two of the facility’s oil storage tanks are on fire. Firefighters have concentrated their efforts on preventing the flames from spreading to the other three tanks.

Authorities were called to the facility when a storage tank two people were smoking on top of exploded.

Both victims are 24 years. One is on life support; the condition of the second was not immediately available.

Van Zandt County, where the facility is located, is about 75 miles east of Dallas.
