On Tuesday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Eddie Gossage, President of Texas Motor Speedway joined Chad to talk about the big O'Reilly Auto Parts 500 NASCAR race and it's accompanying events and celebrations, all happening this weekend in Fort Worth.

Gossage shared details about the race, and talked about changes that have been made to the Texas Motor Speedway track, including new bank angles in turns.

We think that's going to present more opportunities to pass and things like that. That's why you come to races, to see all these guys try and do their best against all kinds of odds, and so we've kind of thrown another variable at them.

Goassage and Hasty also discussed the announced retirement of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. While speaking about Romo's NFL career, Gossage said,

What a great career, give him all the credit in the world. I think in retirement Cowboys fans are going to remember him fondly, and be appreciative, really more appreciative in retirement than they were in his playing days for his contributions, because I think Tony was a very good quarterback.
