Earlier this month, we reported on how a dishonest employee put Durango's Restaurant in a bad situation by stealing over $15,000 from the owners.

Now, things have gone from bad to worse.

Late on the evening of April 25th or the early morning hours of April 26th, Durango's Frankford Ave. location was burglarized.

According to the family who owns the location, someone broke in and stole the cash register from their drive-up window. This, of course, damaged property, took away money and is going to cost the owners to repair and replace the damaged and property.

My heart goes out to this family. They have been through so much, and to have this happen as well is not cool at all.

The family still has a GoFundMe set up to help the family try to rebuild after the previous $15,000 theft and now the burglary. If you can help them out, please consider donating. Better yet, go have dinner at one of their two Lubbock locations: 5004 Frankford Ave. or 411 University Ave.

And if you know anything about the break-in, you can call the Lubbock Crime Line at 806-741-1000. All calls remain anonymous.
