Dave King and Matt Martin to Become Hosts of the KFYO Morning Show on February 20
Monday morning, during the Chad Hasty Show on KFYO, it was announced that Dave King and Matt Martin would take over hosting duties for the KFYO Morning Show, effective February 20, 2017.

Dave King (R) and Matt Martin (L) will take over the KFYO Morning Show (6a-8:30a) on Monday, February 20th. The show will feature local & national news every half-hour, Ron Roberts weather updates four times an hour, the morning Ag Report at 6:07am, various feature commentaries and interviews with newsmakers.
Both Dave and Matt are easy-going, view the world from a conservative viewpoint, and want to interact with KFYO listeners. Matt will also help expand the KFYO Morning Show’s presence on social media through Facebook and Twitter.
Dave King-- Owner of Dave King Advertising in Lubbock. Dave has held the stadium announcer voice for Texas Tech’s Goin’ Band from Raiderland since 2006. Dave has been in the Lubbock media since 1968 and was co-host of KJTV-AM’s News/Talk morning show through 2013. Dave was the chairman of Lubbock’s first Honor Flight in 2012 and previous president of Lubbock Monterey AMBUCS. Dave has been married to Gail since 1971 and has 2 children and 2 grandchildren.
Matt Martin-- Realtor with The Wyatt Team at Keller Williams. Matt is 36, married with three daughters with a fourth child on the way. He is a native of Levelland and spent four years working in Austin before returning to Lubbock in 2015. Matt’s previous radio experience includes serving as a fill-in host on the Saturday edition of the Chad Hasty Show on KFYO. Matt is a graduate of Dallas Baptist University.
KFYO Mornings with Dave King & Matt Martin will air weekdays 6-8:30 a.m. starting February 20, 2017.
