Cornyn Open To Idea Of Cash Payments To Some Americans

Senator John Cornyn joined The Chad Hasty Show on Wednesday to discuss the federal government's response to the coronavirus pandemic. Cornyn told KFYO that he believed Texas was better equipped to handle patients than other states. Cornyn discussed the increasing need of ventilators and other medical supplies.

During the interview Senator Cornyn was asked about the Trump Administration's idea of sending cash payments to U.S. adults. Cornyn indicated that he would be open to sending money to U.S. adults and in a clarification to the Dallas Morning News, his support would be to send adults who are out of work, checks. Meanwhile, the Trump Administration is pushing to send checks to all adults.
