Monday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, Congressman Jodey Arrington joined Dave and Matt to talk about the upcoming midterm election results and what they mean for the future of our country.

With the election results coming up just around the corner, Arrington was asked what his predictions are for tomorrow, to which he answered, "It's going to be a close call in terms of (the republicans) keeping the majority in the house. I mean what's at stake is Nancy Pelosi having the gavel. I don't have to tell you what Pelosi's policies, along with Obama, did to our economy. What they've done for our security and how they've destroyed our health care." He went on to say, "I'm just shocked that we won't have an overwhelming support for republican majority in the house."

Arrington then said that he thinks that Cruz will win, and that he is afraid for places where the citizens don't have the mentality of West Texans. He is hopeful that in the end, people will see how well things are going for republicans and will vote in turn. When asked what would happen if democrats controlled the house after the election, the congressman said that he expects endless investigations in the house, more resistance and obstruction from the left, Trump being hogtied, and our economy, security, and welfare reform will come to a "screeching halt."
