At 4 p.m. on Monday, April 27th, the City of Lubbock confirmed 5 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total confirmed cases in Lubbock County to 504.
The City of Lubbock also confirmed that 289 cases are still active, 172 people have recovered, and 43 people died as a result of the virus.
The City of Lubbock also has extended the county's Disaster Declaration to May 30th.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott the same day announced that multiple businesses will begin re-opening on May 1st.
