Clovis Police Department Reports to Shots Fired in Neighborhood

Yesterday the Clovis Police Department responded to a call reporting several shots in a neighborhood. 7 to 8 shots were reported in the 1100 block of Dusk Lane at around 9:45pm.

Police surrounded the house where neighbors claimed to have heard the shots. The residents of the house were not cooperative. Officers attempted to make contact with the suspected shooter by use of a megaphone. It is suspected the shots were fired in the air. No standoff occurred and no suspect was ever seen by police.
