City of Lubbock Offices Closed on New Year’s Day

City of Lubbock offices will be closed on New Year’s Day.

City offices will resume regular office hours on Wednesday, January 2. Emergency services will not be interrupted on January 1.

Trash collection on Tuesday will instead be picked up on Wednesday. Trash pickup on Monday, December 31st and Friday, January 4th will not be affected.

The City of Lubbock drop-off Recycling Centers and Citizen Collection Stations at 1631 84th Street and 208 Municipal Drive will be closed on January 1st. The West Texas Region Disposal Facility and the Caliche Canyon Landfill.
