Lubbock Man Violently Beats Ex-Girlfriend and Her New Lover with Crowbar
A 42-year-old man in Lubbock spent just two days in jail after dragging his ex-girlfriend down a set of stairs and beating her new boyfriend in the head with a crowbar.
Lubbock Man Assaults Ex in Fit of Jealous Rage
Charles Deeundray Green, 42, received two warrants for his arrest in 2025 after he broke into his ex's house and beat her before doing the same to her new boyfriend.
According to Everything Lubbock, it all started on July 17, 2025, when Lubbock Police Department (LPD) received a call of an assault taking place on the 1800 block of East Auburn Street.
A responding officer arrived at the residence and found a woman who was assaulted with blood trickling down her face. She told the cops that she was on a date with a man and was walking into her apartment when the attack happened.
Her ex-boyfriend, Green, was allegedly hiding behind her front door and began punching and kicking her as she entered her apartment. She also claimed he grabbed her hair and dragged her down a flight of stairs.

The other man who she arrived home with fled the scene. When Green noticed this, he stopped attacking the woman, stole her phone from her hands, and began chasing the fleeing individual.
The Second Assault in Lubbock
The next time Green drew attention was when LPD responded to a call of a domestic disturbance at the 2600 block of Oak Avenue on September 15, 2025.
The responding officer immediately noticed fresh blood leading to the front door of the residence. The same woman from the previous assault was at this residence, stating that she was in bed with her new boyfriend when Green began banging on the front door.
When she left the bedroom to see what was happening, she saw Green attempting to force the front door open with a crowbar. As she ran back to the bedroom to call 911 on her cellphone, Green allegedly began beating her new boyfriend in the head with the makeshift weapon.
She then locked the door to the bedroom, but Green forced that door open as well, entered the room, and stole her phone once again. At this time, her new boyfriend fled the home after sustaining blows to the head from Green's crowbar. After Green stole the cell phone, he, too, fled the home.
Officers were later able to locate the injured victim who was assaulted with the crowbar, but Green was unable to be located.
The Capture and Arrest of Green
Finally, on February 2, 2026, Charles Deeundray Green was arrested and charged with theft, burglary of habitation, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, assault domestic violence, and no liability insurance.
Green's bond was set at $35,000, and he was released just two days later on February 4, Everything Lubbock reports.
