On Wednesday, August 11th, a grand jury approved updated charges against Jason Paul White, a Lubbock dentist who was accused of production of child pornography.

In January of 2021, White's home and businesses was raided after being accused of making a 16-year-old boy send him sexually explicit videos to be used in his "porn business." He apparently told the boy he would pay him for the videos once he turned 17-years-old.

A lawsuit against White said that multiple other unnamed people helped him in the promotion of the "business" not only for their own gratification, but to sell images and videos.

It's also alleged that White provided sexual devices to 3 underage boys on top of requesting sexually explicit content from them via text messages. This was revealed after a tip was received from the Lubbock Police Department from 2 parents of one of the alleged victims in December of 2020.

On Wednesday, White was accused of 16 felony counts, including the production of child pornography, enticement and attempted enticement of a minor and transportation of child pornography.

KAMC News reports that these charges date all the way back to March of 2004, and that prosecutors found 10 victims spanning 23 years. The updated indictment didn't specify if the additional victims had been found.
