The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday rejected a case dealing with the 2nd Amendment and gun suppressors, also called silencers. Those taking the case to the Supreme Court were attempting to argue that suppressors should fall under the 2nd Amendment. In rejecting the case, the Supreme Court sent the case back to the lower court's ruling which does not extend 2nd Amendment protections to gun suppressors. This was particularly interesting because of President Trump's comments last week when he told a reporter that he may look into banning the devices.
