Chad Hasty: Race Should Not Matter in SC Shooting [VIDEO]

On Wednesday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Chad took up the topic of the recent shooting in North Charleston, South Carolina. During a routine traffic stop, a police office allegedly shot and killed an unarmed man while the man was running away from the officer. After firing his Taser, the officer fired eight shots, hitting the man multiple times.

The officer, Michael Thomas Slager, has been charged with murder in the death of Walter Scott. Slager is white, Scott is black, and many are attempting to put race into this issue.

Chad Hasty maintains that skin color should have nothing at all to do with the situation.

Wouldn't this officer be charged even if he were black or even if the person he shot were white? Why do we have to keep throwing race into the title?
